Anne is an independent contractor working on-site with start-ups, young companies, and established businesses. She provides customized services that can save each client a minimum of $50k/year in unexpended payroll/benefit costs.

• Design and maintain web based accounting/bookkeeping systems.
• Train in-house staff to manage accounts and generate reports through QuickBooks applications.
• Perform Controller duties in collaboration with staff, auditors, accountants, and investors.

Established industry-specific systems to manage the reporting needs of multiple properties, including:

• Profit and loss; accounts payable/receivable; collections.
• General Ledger for management and investor reporting; balance sheet and consolidated P&L.

Fulfilled bookkeeping and accounting duties commonly managed by full-time Controller, including:

• Managed assets up to $7M, in tandem with in-house staff; processed payroll for 45 employees.
• Designed and delivered management reports, e.g., cash flow, accounts payable, and budgets.
• Created financial reports for investors and auditors, including balance sheets, profit and loss.
• Collaborated with CPA to provide quarterly and year-end tax compliance; journal entries.

Created systems and trained in-house staff to work with industry-specific reporting, such as:

• Managed general ledger to accurately record transactions on client expenses, overhead costs, and payroll expenditures.
• Trained and supervised staff to “batch process” invoices; ensure accuracy and timeliness of AP/AR.

• Investors and tax compliance, including ESOP (employee’s stock options).
• Developed staff training and monthly reports in compliance with Department of Energy requirements.
